I had a vision of doing this collection one day reading the book of Revelation.

It will be the end of everything, devastating end.

But there is hope and a new beginning in another world- holy and peaceful. The description of this book also reminded me the city of Sodom- the sin city. This city became to pillar of salt because of God's anger. So the color black, crimson red and white popped into my mind and I knew this was my color palette for the revelation collection.

 

Revelation 19:11

I saw heaven standing open and there before me was a white horse, whose rider is called Faithful and True. With justice he judges and makes war.

Sin will be punished, and beloved friends and family will live forever with joy. 

The whole collection is made out of natural materials- silk-chiffon, silk, cotton and intricate lace. Garments are embellished with bead and crystals.

 

Revelation 21:4

"He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death' or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away."
